Title: How is it that some people still deny climate change?
Post by: allegrif on December 03, 2015, 03:19:29 PM
When it's so obviously very ,very real? And it isn't just a small spattering who don't believe in it - a quick trawl of the comments section in many major online publications shows that this is a widespread ignorance. Why do you think this is? Is it just that people don't want to believe in it?

If enough significant figures deny it, then it makes it a lot easier for other people to justify it for themselves. Then when people see both significant figures and their acquaintances deny it, it may seem even less plausible to them.

People do not always want to see the obvious.

The climate has changed a lot over the last decade. You look what's happening to the weather this year. Solid cataclysms, tsunamis.  The onset of winter is not clear in many countries. I watch often National Geographic. There are a lot of interesting facts. They don't show much on TV. I've to myself iptv boxes suppliers (https://www.infomir.eu/) . I can watch TV programs from around the world and analyze the situation myself. But something's going on with the climate.
