Title: Nuclear Fusion
Post by: allegrif on November 24, 2015, 06:13:19 PM
Are there any fusion enthusiasts out there? Sure, it's still a while off, but the potential is phenomenal. It would mean essentially unlimited clean electricity.

There ought to be a board here for it ;)

This is something I'm very interested in as well. I was just reading something very interesting recently actually about a project that's underway called ITER, it's been funded by the European Union, India, Japan, China, Russia, South Korea and the United States.

When all those countries come together you know something shows promise!

I'd definitely recommend reading a bit more about it, it's a fascinating project.

This is something I actually find quite worrying. The amount of energy involved here.... doesn't anyone else think it's a bit dangerous to be messing with this stuff?
