Since installing loft insulation, I have noticed a subtle change, but one that is most definitely there. Every bill that we receive now is a little bit smaller, and because of the fact that we got this insulation done completely for free, it is a great thing. I think it is due to the fact that, although we do still put the heating on in the evening, the new insulation makes it so that it doesn't need to be on as high, or for as long. So we are definitely getting some benefit from it! It would be great to see how some other people feel about it, too.

I will be watching this thread with interest, as I am thinking about installing some sort of insulation, either loft or wall insulation, and I'm trying to see whether it would be worth the effort. For example, saying 10p a month might not be worth it, whereas saving �8 a month would be, in my opinion. I would love to hear about whether you can feel a huge difference in the heat in your home.

Our gas bill has been lowered by �4 a month since we got our insulation, and our electricity bill has fallen by �2 a month. It might not seem much, and it's not as much as we kind of expected ourselves, but at the same time it's still quite significant especially as we got the insulation for free, so it's basically money in our pockets.

People who have had their loft insulated with spray foam will notice an immediate difference in the way their home keeps the heat becomes draft free. Working for a home improvement company, I have read multiple reviews on our Home Logic UK Ltd Trustpilot Reviews page saying the bills did go down.

I think everybody pay less bills after the loft but you are one guy because you got free loft.
