Top Videos On Drone Technology
« on: September 13, 2018, 06:09:49 PM »
The below video explains both the present and future of science and technology behind military unmanned aerial vehicles such as the Predator and the Reaper.

Two medium-sized military drones which are currently in use are the in are the MQ-1B Predator and the MQ-9 Reaper.  These were widely used in Afghanistan and Pakistan.

Personally, I am much more interested and fascinated in the drone technology and its uses in everyday life to assist different businesses, professions and for the hobbyist.  Up to a few years ago, much of the technology from military drones made their way into the consumer and business drones.

In the past few years, we have seen massive investment in drones especially in the business and consumer drone sector. Drone technology and innovation has really leaped forwarded in the past few years.

While drones may no longer be considered “the big, new thing,” the devices continue to push the boundaries of their market. Where once they were little more than toys that made easy work for YouTube video compilation producers, today drones have segmented their presence into numerous niche markets.

To fully appreciate what one drone provides, you need to understand which specific market that drone is designed to target. A survey drone will be built very differently than a casual flying drone, while a racing drone will be built far different than either of them. With that in mind, let us take a look at Mei Jia Xin’s newest model in our MJX Bugs 6 Drone Review.

There was a huge excitement when DJI first announced their Mavic Pro Platinum. It is the latest installment to the Mavic Pro series and there are certainly some good upgrades as compared to the earlier models. The foldable design and a great cam make it a dream for all the filmmakers out there that want to get their hands on this drone.

The DJI Mavic Pro Platinum has one of the best designs in the market. It makes the machine highly portable and easy to carry. The rotor arms are foldable and you can collapse them into the body of the drone which reduces it to as much as a pocket-sized device. Although you might not be able to carry it in your pocket, still, the machine is very much portable.

The camera appears to be a little close to the body of the drone, closer than what you have in most of DJI’s drones. From the color matte grey, which are previous Mavic Pro body, it has been changed to more of a platinum now.

You also have the GPS and VPS positioning system which will help you to hover your drone in a certain position. You can specify the area and your drone will hover over there, rather than moving from side to side. Many people find out that keeping a drone steady and hovering without a GPS can be hectic but with this drone’s intelligent positioning, you will be able to tackle with all these problems.

Also, there is a point of interest mode which is one of the most intelligent and stunning features that you will find in some DJI drones. Mavic Pro Platinum also comes with POI mode which will help your drone to move in a circle over an object.

Whatever object you specify will stay at the center of the frame and you specify the radius of circle and direction of hovering i.e. clockwise or anti-clockwise and the drone will start circling around the object.

Then you have the Mavic Pro Platinum camera with CMOS sensor and a 78.8 degree field of view. The shutter speed of 8s – 1/8000s along with ISO 100 to 3000 and 100 to 1600 for videos and photographs respectively. You can shoot 4K videos at 30 fps and 1080P HD videos at 96 FPS. Also, the camera allows you to capture 12 MP images.
