What is the best manufacturer or model / range of biomass boilers on the market

Hi everyone, I have been looking into getting a renewable heating system for my home as we are off grid and currently are paying way to much for heating oil. I need to know what biomass boilers are the best and what have the best maintenance records and reliability? Anyone with real world experience of operating one over a period of greate than a year would be highly appreciated of some advice regarding the operation and running costs compared to oil?

I have been using a Stanley oil range cooker for heating water and cooking for 5 years and it costs a lot. I recently replaced this with a Klover boiler and I am happy with it. The boiler is solid and well built and unlike many systems does not require a huge heat store as it has technology to compensate. Thats why I chose it as I don't have room for a 2000ltr water store. I did upgrade my hot water cylinder to 230ltrs to have more available hot water. We have a 3 bedroom bungalow in the Scottish Borders.

I was in a similar position to you, and I got a lot of advice from a company called IsoEnergy I'm happy to recommend them because the gave impartial advice, especially regarding the maintenance and reliability of different brands (I didn't know about the effectiveness of some of the self-cleaning systems for example).
