Hi all,

I'm new to this forum so hoping to get some help and advice from people with experience.

I have designed and built a 1 metre boat that is autonomous(can control itself based on instructions given by GPS as well as other). I am going to power it using a battery setup + solar. The idea being that the batteries will supply the power for the motor and computer components on board (the motor is the main draw on power, the pc parts are negligible). As the motor is using energy from the batteries, the solar cells are feeding energy into the battery cells.

I am looking for someone here in the UK who has the knowledge to work out all energy requirements and design the battery setup that will power the motor continually as well as advising on the best materials/suppliers for my project. In return for your assistance, I'm willing to pay for your time, credit you or your company on my project when it is published or even make you a partner on the project.

I have spoken to a few people already who have expressed that this can definitely be accomplished with the right arrangement of batteries and solar cells but I need someone who has a very indepth knowledge of the mathematics behind it all as well as can be relied upon to explain things in Lehman's terms throughout the project.

If you think you have the knowledge and think you'd like to be a part of/help out with an exciting project, please leave a reply here or send me a private message and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.

Thanks for reading my thread and I hope I can connect with some forward thinking people.

That is a simple solar power system,  But need to take the water proof into consideration.
