I am a Newcastle University student undertaking research in heat energy in the UK. There has been a severe lack of attention on renewable heat energy in UK environmental policy and this research aims to determine why the UK has had such a slow uptake in diversifying from fossil fuel heat energy generation compared to other European countries.
