Hi, I intend to mount 5 solar panels (390w each) on my wooden summer house roof. I have a quote for panels, inverter and fittings. The summer house has a consumer unit in place. I have a good qualified electrician but he has never installed solar.

I am told that's all I need but surely I must advise the power company and jump through some government hoops?
