How easy is it to set up Micro-Hydro

Being in the fortunate position of living out in the countryside with a stream running past the end of my garden, I've been considering setting up a Micro-Hydro system to generate my own power.

I have no idea where to start with this though, anyone out there able to offer advise or opinions on if this is something that is feasible?

size and length of hose is critical as efficiency falls quickly with small pipe sizes.
