I am thinking about getting enphase batteries for my systems.

Do people on here know:

how much each 1.2KW battery costs?

whether it makes any financial sense to pay for batteries?

My electric bill is currently about £300 - £400 a year.

Thank you.

energy man,

You don't seem to have received a reply to this posting, I am only an occasional visitor to this site.

Battery systems still don't make outright economic sense even if you get them installed as a part of a PV install and gain from the 5% VAT.

You have a very small usage at £3 - 400 a year so I wouldn't bother.

You would be better sticking money into the likes of an ISA to be honest.

I contemplated batteries for our system, but they didn't make financial sense given their price and lifespan.
