We are a sports club with a 106kW gas water boiler, mainly for showers, and10kW PV panels. The PV output is split between the 3 phase supply
We have installed a preheat tank for the gas boiler using PV connected to a 3kw immersion heater, and plan to upgrade this with a larger tan with two 3kW heaters, using the two phases not used for the rest of the building.
Once or twice a week during the winter, the building is used for evening meetings. Demand for showers is lower during the winter so I am considering how to use the PV output for space heating. Using storage heater is possible but it looks like a long payback period. Using PV to heat water in the radiator circuit is another option.

I would be glad to hear others views and experience
