Hi,
I'm am new to the subject and am currently fixing up my workshop with solar energy and trying to learn on the way.
I am wondering if I can successfully run my Stihl AL300 battery charger from a solar charged 12v battery using an inverter? I currently use it at home from the mains.  If so, what inverter would I need? From what I have read so far I think I understand I would need a pure sine wave inverter, but not entirely sure.
The spec on the charger reads as follows - rated voltage v: 220-240. Rated current A: 2.6. Charging current A:6.5. But not really sure what these mean.
Any advise would be great.
