Michael has been involved in installing heat pumps since 2002, when he helped run the government HEES scheme in Northern England. He installed his first ground source pumps with his ex-partner before Air source heat pump systems became popular around 2012. Michael was involved with the government-backed Clear Skies scheme and the first Solar scheme in the UK (Simply Solar) prior to the introduction of the current government-supported MCS scheme.

After retiring from domestic and commercial installation, Michael identified a need for quality contractors and installers to use experienced technical support rather than salespeople. He started a business that offers an independent service to consider all kinds of heating and ventilation equipment, providing accurate information on pricing, savings, and RHI and OFGEM payments in line with current MCS recommendations. This enables customers to receive a quality service and installation at the best possible prices. Michael's business works only with MCS accredited heat pump installers who are members of either RECC or HIES with EPVS certification. They deliver the best equipment, professionally installed and warranted, and assist customers in claiming their government-backed RHI tariffs and OFGEM payments. All partners have many years of experience fitting and installing the UK's top five quality heat pumps currently available.

Michael's business has MCS and Office of Fair Trading-approved agreements, and heat pumps are available to suit all property sizes. All equipment, parts, and labor are fully included and installed at set prices.
