Microgen installed our 5.2kWh and 6.5kWh battery system on Nov 4th. It was completed in one day by a friendly, polite and efficient 3 man team. We sought quotes from 3 firms, not only were Microgen competitive, they were the most knowledgeable when they visited and the only one that listened to our needs. One of these was to be able to keep our lighting, heating and TV on during a mains power cut. Microgen were the only firm offering this using a switching system which protects people working to restore mains power while keeping our services on and this was tested during an extended power cut when we were the only house on our road with power. Even in the winter period (Nov 4th to Feb 16th) the Microogen system (panels and battery) have provided over half our electricity so in a full year over 80% looks likely.
