Ulex Energy

I have worked with Ian before when we were engineers at the same major consultancy. It was a pleasure to trust him with the solar install on my house (finally!) and a second pleasure working with someone so painstakingly professional and careful - from the early design phase with lifecycle and maintenance discussions, to the risk assessments before starting work, to the care and detail of his follow-up to check the system was working as well as possible.

I had a great experience with Ulex Energy. They carried out my solar and battery installation to high standard and were very helpful and knowledgeable. Definitely recommend!

Big thanks from Ulex Energy for such a great experience getting my battery storage added to my existing solar system. I didn't know where to start. No pushy sales, just really good advice based on my actual electricity usage and friendly service. The instalation was done on time and the electrician did a great job. Couldn’t be happier with how it all turned out.

I had an issue with my existing Enphase solar system, which had been installed by a company that has gone bust. Enphase suggested buying an expensive new gateway which was out of my budget. Ulex Energy came round to have a look and found that the original installer had not separated the solar installation from the main consumer unit, which was why my gateway wasn't reporting my solar generation. After changing this, my system is now working again. I was really impressed by their technical knowledge and everything was done with great care. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them!

Ulex Energy installed a PV system on the roof with battery storage. The process was really straightforward from planning to installation. Ian was helpful in determining the size of the system we required to suit our needs. Would definitely recommend them. Thanks to Ian and the team.

Ian was very thorough and conscientious whilst installing our Tesla Powerwall. He's a pleasure to work with and highly recommended. Thanks Ian

I would recommend Ulex energy for any solar pv/ storage projects. I had excellent professional service in a timely manner - with a great outcome. I will go back to them before anyone else!!

We had been looking for an installer who could tackle our project, as it was far from standard—involving twin 15 kW inverters, battery storage, rewiring our existing panels into the new setup, and installing new ones. Ian and Dan are the ultimate perfectionists, and nothing was ever too much trouble. The install was exceptionally well laid out and a neat, tidy job from start to finish. I have nothing but praise for their workmanship and attention to detail. The post-installation support has been excellent as well. I would highly recommend them to anyone! Thanks Gents :)

Fast, friendly, and fantastic value. Ulex Energy was the cheapest quote I found, replied to emails almost instantly, and had our battery installed hassle-free within 2 weeks. The installers even went the extra mile to fix some extra solar wiring. Couldn't ask for better service!

Ulex Energy installed solar panels and battery storage in my house during January this year. A I can recommend Ian & Ulex highly. The service received from initial discussions to install and follow up has been excellent. Ian designed a system to maximise space on the roof to maximise efficiency of the system.

Excellent service from this company, highly recommend them. The engineer arrived on time, explained what work that needed doing, very polite, and repaired the connection to out solar panels. Thank you
