This is one of my pet hates, we do not have enough wind power.  (or wave power for that matter) I think there should be much more power harnessed from the wind, after all if the turbines are in the right places then they will constantly be working and generating.  I know there is the argument that they are ugly and an eyesore, but I certainly wouldn't mind them near me

No! I disagree, I hate wind farms, there is one close to me and it is annoying, it's an eyesore, has vastly reduced property values (at least that is the reason we have been given) are not that quiet and I hate it.

I really need to move away from them but as above I no longer can afford to - we are not allowed to directly harness upto the damn things anyway so what is the point!

You may feel that this is the case, but the unfortunate fact is that this country needs some kind of power, and this means that things need to be done in order to get that power. It is all well and good trying to make the country look nice, but if we can't find enough to power to make it light enough to see, then what's the use?

Luke Bainbridge

I think we need more, but there are plenty of places in the countryside where they could go without having to spoil any scenery for anyone. I think there are important considerations to be made, but at the same time we do all have to pull together and do our bit to create more energy.
