The Heat Ltd is a company that specializes in split type heat pumps, also known as bi-block. Established in 2008, we offer a range of heat pump services, including air to air heat pumps, air to water, mechanical ventilation heat recovery, and solar hot water installation.

Our team of fully trained and certified heating and refrigeration engineers is capable of legally installing, maintaining, and repairing any heat pump, including the refrigerant circuit.

Split type heat pumps offer several advantages. For instance, the outdoor unit can be installed up to 20 meters away from the indoor unit, making it ideal for those who do not want their heat pump located close to their house. Additionally, there's no need to add antifreeze to the entire central heating system, saving hundreds of pounds in installation bills and reducing the risk of damage to the heat pump during power shortages in cold weather. Lastly, split heat pumps suffer limited efficiency loss, as the heat exchanger is located indoors.
